About us...

This annual charity event was founded nearly 40 years ago and has traditionally been hosted at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel.

After becoming known throughout the region as the Birmingham Poppy Ball, we were introduced to Bryn and Emma Parry from Help for Heroes (H4H) in 2007 and have since re-branded with the success of our affiliation. Between 2007 and 2009 we have raised nearly £300,000 for H4H and other service charities.

Some £225,000 has been donated to Help for Heroes, with the balance being distributed to the Royal British Legion (RBL), The Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) and the British Limbless Ex-Servicemans Association (BLESMA).
